Dear Terry, Terry and I are thinking of you and your family and have prayers. We are sorry we are unable to attend the services but I am unable to put my Grandson, Max, down long enough to do anything! I am thinking of what Bertha said.... When one life goes out, one comes in. I will now think of her as Max's Angel along with my Grandmother Nell, my dad's Mom. We are going to donate $50 to the Pan Cancer Assoc in honor of your mom. We love You!!!

Dearest Schumacher family, It is bittersweet to know Bertha is gone to heaven. I remember the days of she and your dad at the craft shows. They were the most giving, loving and sweetest folks I've ever known. She was such a "lady". Although, they will be missed here, they are once again together in heaven and not suffering any longer. Your family is in my prayers and know that I am a phone call away if needed. love, Tina

Bertha was a very sweet, kind and caring person. Also a great cook! We would stop in Beaumont to see her on our way to Pensacola Beach. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her dearly.

I became very good friends with Bertha while growing up. She was always so nice to me when I visited her house, and I went several times by myself to spend time with her. Also, as I grew up and had a family, we would stop by to visit her on our annual trips to Pensacola Beach when we drove through Beaumont. She was always so excited to see us, and made us feel so welcomed. Bertha was always such a sweet and kind lady who cared deeply for all of her loved ones. She will be greatly missed.

Donna, Terry & Debbie - I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Bertha's passing. She was truly the sweetest, most loving person I've ever known.
I loved visiting with her when I was in town and hearing stories about her childhood, her brothers and sisters, and how my grandparents met. She would speak so proudly of her daughters and grandchildren. She always had such kind words for everyone.
I wish I could be there for the services and to give you big hug but please know your are in my thoughts.
Love, Kari
