Laura said the other day that losing Memaw was like losing her own grandmother. Since Laura's grandmothers died when she was very young, Memaw holds a special place in her heart. Thank you all for sharing your Memaw with Laura. Love, Mollie Massey

I have many memories of Carroll Joyce, many from our childhood like the Palm Street watery grave; the summer we took art class from Aunt Margaret; when we got sick from eating too many green pears; all the family reunions; our sleep-overs at Honey's on a pallet of quilts; the 2 story house on McFadden St (I think it was)...w/the little restaurant on the corner; and in more recent years the first cousin reunion at Ruth Lyn's; the do it ourselves Glamour Shots at the lake when we laughed 'til we cried & it was hard to take photographs, and always Carroll Joyce's exquisite needlework. You are in our hearts, Carroll. Rest in peace.

I loved Aunt Carol and have been blessed by her being in my life. All the Barbie clothes she made by hand, all the times she chased Debbie and I around the house to pop us, all the drive-in movies she took us to. These and many more memories will always be with me. I love you Aunt Carol. Tennie Susan

Another one has entered the gates of heaven!! I am praying for the family as they say farewell to your mom on earth, but know that your will all be with her again in heaven.

Momma I hoped I would have one more birthday with you. But since God saw fit to take you gently into his arms this morning I will praise him that you are no longer anxious, confused or afraid. I will miss your beautiful creativ spirit and all the fun and joy you brought to our family. I will never forget the times that you knew exactly how I felt and you were just there for me and for others to. You grew 10 feet tall some of those times in my eyes. I will remember that we sang together "I come to the Garden" and that we told each other how much we loved each other. Rest precious Momma, no one or nothing can ever hurt you again..I love you. Debbie
