Tom: The loss of a child is the hardest thing in life to bear. There is a hole in your heart that can never be fully repaired, but can be patched by the passing of time and by the love and support of those around you. You and Sandra helped support all of us when Bucky died--we're here for you if you need us. Look at Ian's photos often at that beautiful smile and remember him at his happiest. It'll help get you through the bad days and nights. Love you!

We became friends in Jr. High and from that day on your were always such a kind and wonderful person. You had a smile that could light up a room. You will be missed by everyone that has ever known you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Tom - I know of your love for Ian. I am so deeply sorry for your loss of Ian from this life. There is a poem, "when a star is quenched on high, for ages would its light, still traveling downward from the sky, shine on our mortal sight." I know the loss of Ian from this life is devastating.
