William "Bill" Robert O'Dell

My prayers are with the family. All though we never talked or saw each other lately I admired Bill greatly. I enjoyed his sense of humor and the way he strive to be a better man. It was an honor to have known him.

Sharon- I always enjoyed the time I spent hanging out at your house during Junior High and High School. I loved your parents very much. You are all in my prayers.

Farewell dear brother, I'm sure you were met by a large group that has prepared a place for all of us. I clearly remember the first amazing feat I witnessed at the age of 5 years. We were living in Sterling City and having troubles with a hawk getting our chickens. One day, hearing the squaking, I can still see you coming out the door with Dad's 410 shotgun. The hawk saw you to and tried to make a hasty escape as you bore down on him and with one shot brought him down before he could get out of range. I thought then that you were the straightest shooter there ever was only to prove in life that indeed you were a straight shooter in everything you tackled. You led by example and will always be remebered as such.

On behalf of David & I we would like to send our deepest sympathy to your family. Mike we love you like a Son, and we are here if you need anything. Ann, if there is anything we can do, please let us know.

My Love and Prayers go out to the O'Dell family. Bill was loved and will be greatly missed. I am very proud to have known him.

Ann, I will miss my Father In Law so much, but I'm so proud of being able to call you Mother In Law. On behalf of Mike and I, please let us know if you need anything. We love you so much, just as much as we loved Bill. He will greatly be missed. Rest in Peace my loving Father in Law.

I am so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. He is a very good man and has fought a hard fight. My prayers are with his family.

I knew an O'Dell family while I grew up in Royalty and Monahans. My dad Jess Watkins worked with your dad. My baby sister was a year younger than Bill. I think there was a R.W. O.Dell. I believe Bill was a postman in Monahans. I want to say how sorry to hear of your loss, but he has gone to a better place. I have lossed my parents and both sisters and my husband.
