I had the opportunity to meet Helen over 30 years ago when she had her flower shop. Our paths crossed again through my association with her sisters, Peggy & Hazel. We also did volunteer work through Odyssey hospice. Helen was always such a sweet, kind and giving person and had a smile for everyone. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. My prayers and sympathy extend to her family.

Aunt Helen,
You have always been such a big part of my life and my kids life and we are going to miss you dearly! You were more than an Aunt. You were more like a grandmother to all of us! We love you and honor your life. We were blessed to have you as our Aunt! We are so saddened that you are gone, but happy because you are now in the arms of Uncle Tyler and embracing Uncle George, Steve, and grandma. You are no longer in pain and will be waltzing across heaven with your true love forevermore! We love you and everytime I make hair bow, I will think of you and know you will be smiling down on me. May you rest in Peace!

Grandma Tyler will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing she has gone to be with Woodrow. Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we are to Hazel Odom and her family for their care and compassion, we are honored to be family.
