To the entire Walker family, my heartfelt sympathy.
As a teenager in Beaumont in the mid 1950's I lived two houses from his aunt and cousins. I remember the times they would come to visit. I also remember his mom and dad.

To the Walker family, my god give you peace at this difficult time. I am the granddaughter of Agnes Walker Britten. My mother was June, who also died of cancer in 1992 at the age of 53. Eugenia Walker told me of Clay Sr's recent passing. It is so sad to have such close relatives and never have spent time with them. Maybe someday we can all get together and pass along our family tree to our children and grandchildren.

Clay and Family...so sorry to hear this news my friend. I lost "my" Dad 37 years ago and (like yours) he too was a gifted musician. I would love to tell you that in time you will "get over" losing him...but that would be a lie for you never will. I still think about "my" Dad every day. Your dad was very proud of you buddy, ...through your success he was doubtless able to realize may of "his" dreams and that is something YOU should be very proud of. I am very proud for you. I know we haven't seen one another in years but you will be happy to know that I work closely with one of your old friends...Clayton King. One day when you have some time you might want to call him,...he is not well either Clay. Take care my friend... Your family is in our prayers...
