Dear Fertitta Family, I am so sorry about the death of your mother, she was a special person!! My personsal story about Mamie is when I ran into her and Mary Ann at Bandos, it was near St.Joseph's day and St.Patrick's day, of course Debbie had items for both holidays!! My mother always had a sweet-tooth, as I was walking to my car, Mamie called out to me and handed me a whole bag of fig cookies to give to my precious mother.I think mother ate the whole bag that day:) Yummy!!
What a generous lady your mother was! Love, Bridget

To The Family and Friends of Mrs. Fertitta:
Our blessed comfort and consolation in Mrs. Fertitta's passing is the assurance that she is in Heaven with God, our Father, Almighty and sweet Jesus! While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her wonderful life and ascension into Heaven! She was such a delightful help and blessing to all with whom she came in contact as well as the many organizations she so generously helped. Praise God for our wonderful "Mamie"!!

I don't know where to begin with our friendship with Mamie. She was a friend, as to many, when we lived with four children on Thomas Road, a hop , skip, and a jump from Jack's Pak It for 22 years. As many have confessed, our kids also went every afternoon after school for cookies from Mamie. What a great time for our kids.
My personal experience, was the time I went in the store for ricotta cheese to complete my receipe for lasagna. There was none in the cooler, so Mamie agreed to go to my kitchen a block away, and make her ricotta cheese from scratch! This was amazing, so I agreed. Away we went, and Mamie made a pint of ricotta cheese for me personally, then returned to the store. I have never forgotten this day in all these years. Where in all of America can this happen today?
Mamie and Joe were both special to the McNeill family on a day to day basis. The McNeills will miss both Joe and Mamie always for their ways of taking care of friends and family, and neighbors. FANTASTIC.
Love to Mary Ann, David, their children, and all of the Fertitta family from Kelly and Jack McNeill
