Karen and family of Mike;
I lack words to express the deep sympathy I feel for you all at this time.
Please remember that so many people are holding you in thought and prayer.
Memories. So many; and yet...not nearly enough. One special memory is Mike's smile, which could light up the room.

My first memories of Mike take me back many years ago to Langham Elementary, what a cute little boy he was with that big dimpled smile and always very kind. To all of Mike's family, I am so very sorry and may this poem bring you some comfort in the days, months & weeks ahead.

When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see.
If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me.
I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we never got to say.

I know how much you love me, as much as I love you..
And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too..
But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand..
An angel came and called my name and took me by the hand,
It seemed my place was ready - In Heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind, those things I dearly love..

But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye.
For all of life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, so much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you..
I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad..
I thought of all the love we shared, and how much fun we had..
If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while,
I'd say goodbye, then kiss you ‘til I saw that special smile..

But then I fully realized, that it could never be,
'Cause emptiness and memories, would take the place of me.
And when I thought of all those things, I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. .
But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, From his great & golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity, and all I've promised you.
Today your life on Earth is past, but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last,
and since each day is the same day, there's no longing for the past. .
But you have been so faithful, so trusting and so true,
Though there were some times you did some things you shouldn't do. .

But you have been forgiven, and now at last you're free,
So come and take me by the hand, and share my life with me.."
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me, I'll be right there - in your Heart..

Karen..... I had the previledge of sharing 12 weeks with the two of you. What a great experience. My prayer for you is to find something to smile for and about. God with get us through what he takes us to. The plate you to gave me

To Mike's family - I am truly sorry for your loss. Mike stayed the same cool guy I met at C.O. Wilson till the last time I saw him right before I moved a few years ago. Always laughing and smiling every time I saw him. He will surely be missed.

I am so sorry to hear this about Mike. I didn't know him well, but I do remember his baby blues and smile. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

Karen, One could only imagine your pain. I did not know Mike that well but thought alot of him because of my friendship with you. You will heal over time with the support of your family and freinds and will always cherish your time with Mike. Keep your faith and know you are in our prayers.

Mike was such a special gift to our family 56 years ago. He was loved and we will miss him greatly. Our love and prayers go out to Karen and family. Aunt Glenda and Uncle Jerry

We were so saddened to hear of Mike's passing and we have shared memories of him with others who shared their youth with him, as we did at NHS. Mike will always be remembered as a happy person...always ready with that sparkling smile.
Our prayers go up for his family and loved ones in this time of loss...he is with HIM...he lives with GOD....and he waits for those he loves.

Karen it has been over a year since I saw you and Mike at Larry's Cajun Restaurant, we were celebrating our son's birthday and you and Mike were out to dinner celebrating as well.
I can't tell you how sorry I am and I know that there is little that can be said that will make you feel better. I hope that knowing so many are praying for you, will bring you some comfort. Mike will be very missed, such a beautiful person inside and out.
