My heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with you as you go through this time. I am so happy top have had the chance to know Mr. Zoschke. The years I spent working with and for him were highly educational and I can still hear him laugh as he told the story about, "Since when do you come to attention with a pipe in your mouth?". He was a man dedicated to his dream of bringing music into the lives of many people. To borro from Ford, "Quality was job number one with him". He didn't take short-cuts. He wanted a satisfied customer even if it was at his expense. I will miss Mr. Zoschke, his stories, and his quick smile.

Deepest sympathy for your loss. He was a wonderful man and a good friend to the arts. His kindness to the Beaumont Community Players was amazing and sustained over decades. It's a cliche, but it's true, they don't make men like Marvin any more. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Robynn and I will always miss seeing Mr. Zoschke when we visit.
He was a unique man who could both make you laugh, and think, with his wry comments on the world.
I have known Robert since the mid-1970s in Lumberton. The Piano Store was my first real job during college, as we delivered pianos and organs part-time there. Mr. Zoschke was my first employer.
Mr. Zoschke always expected excellence, and tried to give that to his many customers. He was not just there to make a sale. He would stop what he was doing when people came in, and greet them, and really try to help them.
He would sometimes give the customers an added treat by playing his prized violin or one of the pianos.
He was one of the most interesting people in Beaumont, and great to talk to.
I will always remember the many stories he told about how he came to have the Piano Store in Beaumont in the 1950s, and his insight on past and current events.
I talked to him last on the phone last Feb. 2010. He was cheerful as always, and could always find something clever to say, and something that would make me laugh.
I will miss talking to him, as will Robynn.
I believe he is entertaining others now on a higher plane, with both his music and humor.

We were one of Marvin's coffee shop friends. We enjoyed visiting with Marvin over a cup of coffee and enjoyed his never ending sense of humor.
