Linda Alice Land

I met Linda @ Robert E. Lee High school & enjoyed her sense of humor/wit in our English classes!! She was a very warm, caring person & I appreciated her friendship. My heartfelt prayers to all of her family during this time of grief. Yvonne (Foshee) Wallace, Class of 1969

I am saddened to learn of Linda's death. I was the Vice-Principal of Robert E. Lee High School where she attended. She was a brilliant student with an engaging personality. She often babysat my daughters who thought she was the greatest. I never think of Linda without remembering her broad smile. I will miss her, but I will not forget her.

My condolences to her parents with whom good times were shared in Montgomery and to Ed and Judy who are fondly remembered.

Linda was an amazing woman and will be missed. She was an inspiration to all women engineers. I appreciate her dedication and accomplishments in the Womens Network as well as her accomplishments in DuPont. My thoughts and prayers are with Linda's family and friends.

While Linda and I started out as co-workers, we grew to be good friends. I knew who to call when I needed to vent or wanted to just talk. She was such a great friend and I admired how much she loved life. She seemed to have activities with friends almost every evening. I will miss our talks! My heart aches for the loss of Linda!

I am so sorry for your loss. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Linda and I had many wonderful times togethera on trips and at dinners with friends. I will be out of town and unable to attend the memorial service.

We are shocked and saddened to hear that Linda has passed. We will remember her love for her family and all that she achieved in her life.

Linda's kindness and leadership in her work at DuPont inspired many of us to always look forward in a positive manner. I consider myself blessed to know her, and this day brings me great sadness. Linda was one of the reasons why I joined DuPont out of college, and was always someone I could count on for good advice. I will miss her.........

I'm in total shock! We moved in the neighborhood at the same time, gave birth to children at the same time, and spent hours in our yards with our children playing together. I don't know what to say except that I am praying diligently for her family

My prayers are with the family in this time of loss. Linda and I were in the band together at Lee High School. I played clarinet and will never forget Linda's wonderful and funny personality. I know you will all miss her and we can only pray for peace and comfort for the ones left behind and that is my prayer for parents, children, grandchildren, brother and sister. The Lord bless you and keep you.
