It was a year ago today that my Maw Maw passed away.
I miss her so much, more than words can ever say.

All our lives were forever changed that 23rd day of January,
I never dreamed it would be my Maw Maw we had to bury.

Everyone says that God does things for a reason,
And I believe that because my sister died that same season.

Knowing that my Maw Maw was in Heaven waiting
I know my sister's last journey was better than she'd been anticipating.

Even though I am so selfish that I want my Maw Maw here
I am at ease knowing that the day we will be together again is near.

I love you Maw maw and I know that you, Rachell and Paw Paw are taking care of each other

while yall are waiting in Heaven for my aunts and uncles, my neices and nephews, and me and my Mother.

Mama Cita You were an awesome Lady. I will remember u always. I am so thankful that I was allowed the joy of knowingYou. I am thankful for the week that cindy lou & I along with our families got to spend a week together with you in Mississippi during Rita. It gave me time to get to know u better. I will always remember sitting out on the porch with you in the mornings. Thank you Belle for allowing us to share ur Mom. I am thankful you have no mmore mountains & can watch the Blue birds in yout Garden with the ones that have gone on before you. You can now rest, live in your Mansion in the sky and walk the streets of gold. You and my Dad have now met and I am sure ya"ll will get along. Tell him Hello for me & that I miss him. We will love and miss u always.

MAW MAW, ITS ONLY BEEN 4 DAYS AND I HAVE MISSED YOU EVERY SECOND OF IT. IM SORRY I NEVER TOLD YOU THANK YOU FOR THE MANY, MANY SPECIAL THINGS THAT YOU AND PAW PAW DID FOR ME WHEN I WAS GROWING UP AND AS I HAV GOTTEN OLDER. I WILL CHERISH THE TIME WE SPENT TOGETHER FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. DONT YOU WORRY, I WILL ALWAYS BE CLOSE BY TO TAKE CARE OF MOM, BELLE, SHEILA, DIANNA , BUBBA AND YES MA'AM, TANA TOO, ANYTIME THEY NEED ME. YOU WERE RIGHT MAW MAW, WE ARE ALL TOGETHER AND HAVE GOTTEN A LOT CLOSER. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE LONG TALKS WE HAD. AND THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US ALL CLOSER TO EACH OTHER. Mamacita, we will always love and miss you!! You have made so many people happy, and our memories of you will never fade. I am so happy that you get to play in the garden you mentioned.. I'm sure it is amazing. The description that you gave of it was breathtaking. Save a spot for us, and please watch over us! We all love you, and miss you dearly. You will stay in your family and friends hearts forever, and we cherish you and your light spirit. I'm so happy that you can finally be at peace, and worry free. We love you more than you know, and are sending hugs and kisses your way.

God watch over our combined family as we grieve the loss of our Queen of household and let us remember in our weak moments the joyful, loving times she shared with us and the knowledge she left with us before she joined you in that oh so beautiful garden she described to me you now shall rest peacefully in Gods arms as the bluebirds fly and the sun shines on the colorful flowers I will never forget my momasita..I love you

May God richly bless all of you and grant you serenity in your loss. I will miss her greatly! I am so sorry that I cannot make the service but I will be praying for all of you. I loved the video! It reminded me of our days together. So sorry they were cut short but she was full of laughter to the very end. Love to you all.
