Thoughts and prayers to the family. How blessed we were to share her life. I haven't seen Pat in years but always remember how much fun she was to be around.

Dear Sandy, Vickie, Lynn and Pat's grandchildren,
Your Mother and Grandmother was truly a special person with so much love in her heart. I cannot remember a time when I saw her without a smile on her face. One of my favorite things to do when we were little was going to Burkes Garden to see Pat and play with Sandy, Vickie and Lynn. I will never forget the fun times we had there and any other time that was spent with Pat. She was always dancing, singing or laughing when we were around her and now she is doing the same with Jesus. I bet He is having the time of his life with her! I love you all and hope to see you one day. Love, Sheri
p.s. The slide show was beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing pictures of her and the family!

Sandy, Vickie, and Lynn and families.
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks undone must stay that way. I found that peace at close of day. If my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me God wanted me now; He set me free.

It's been so long since the last time I saw Pat. Thoughts and prayers with the family. I do remember her always laughing and trying to keep us "little ones" under control.

Girls, we are thankful that you all had a great life with your Mom. She was a wonderful, fun loving person. I am thankful to have been a part of her family. We know she is in Gods hands and will be there with her some day. She will be greatly missed, but we have wonderful memories. Love you all!

Even though I had not seen Pat in several years I still remember the good times we had growing up in Clear Fork, VA. She and I had a lot of good times together going to the Bluefield auditorium and dancing. She loved people and having a good time. She was a very special person and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
