Joe Shamburger

To Joe's family, I just found out today (7/1/2011) that he passed away. Joe was a wonderful and caring man. He served on the board of directors for the Mental Health Association off and on since 1962. He was recognized for his years service to MHA in 2003 at our Annual Meeting. That night Vic Rogers, who Joe worked with, stood up and shouted, "It's about time someone recognized Joe for everything he has done. About time!" The guests that night broke into laughter and a standing ovation. Joe will be missed. Please let us know when you plan to have a memorial service as we all need to say 'good bye'.

We had a lot of good memories of Joe, having been in the Beaumont Power Squadron for so many years. We were so sad to hear of his passing. A really great guy. Our thoughts, prayers and memories remain. Until we meet again.

Joe was my friend. He was our family friend. He was unique and very special. People like Joe may pass on, however, they will always occupy a special place in our hearts.
