The Holtzclaw Family, The Patterson Family, The Landry Family and Grandma Cotten,

There are no words, only a deep sadness for your loss.

If you look up the definition of "smile" in the dictionary, you will find Alyssa's picture. She was the kindest, sweetest and most considerate child/young lady that I had ever met. It is apparent that she never changed. She was always happy to watch the younger children and include them in anything the "big" kids were doing. I remember how helpful Alyssa was and how much fun we had when Grandma took all of us to Arkansas for a family reunion vacation one year; or at the October birthdays at Betty and Larry's, or Uncle Mike and Aunt Carolyn's fish frys or in Grandma Cotten's backyard. She is now in Heaven with Tucker wrapped in her arms . Although the years have passed since I last saw Alyssa, I can only imagine that the beautiful girl I knew is now smiling down on you and she is so sorry that she and Tucker had to leave you so soon and that you are so sad... and she would want to comfort you and tell you that it will be easier in time and that it is okay to miss her and to cry for her as long as you remember very soon to smile for Tucker and her and love Todd and the boys as much as she did and help Todd raise the boys to become the kind, good-hearted person she was.

Love, Bonnie Battinelli

Todd,
We can't even imagine what you are going through. Alyssa was a great person and always made the work day interesting. She and Tucker will be missed here, but Heaven is now a brighter place. God bless.

Although I have never met your family, I just wanted to let you know that the thoughts and prayers of my family are with you and yours during this time of loss. From reading so many kind words, I can see that Alyssa was a beacon of light to the lives of so many people and that Tucker was following the path of spreading joy, too. May God give you all peace through this tragedy and may we all remember to treat our families with love each day, as life is too short for anything else.

Mr. & Mrs. Patterson and Family,
I was blessed to have known Alyssa. She was such a sweet and caring person, always armed with a beautiful smile, ready to lend a word of encouragement to those around her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the Lord comfort you and give you peace.

I am deeply saddened for your families loss by this tragedy. As I think of Alyssa, a smile comes to my face. All who knew her know that's the effect she had on people. I know Heaven became a brighter, happier place on Sunday morning and pray that her infectious sweetness will help all who loved her as they face the days ahead. Mike, Carolyn, Tara, Shane and Mrs. Cotten, I love you all dearly and will continue to Pray for you all as well as the rest of Alyssa's family.

Carolyn,
I know words do not bring comfort right now. Sandy and I are praying for you, Mike, Tara and Shane, as well as your mom and all of the other family members. My heart hurts for you so much. While we don't understand, we know that our Heavenly Father doesn't make mistakes. I pray for the peace of God to overwhelm you all in the days to come. We love you very much.

Our hearts are breaking for you all... what a treasure Alyssa was to everyone she met. What a blessing Alyssa & Carolyn were when I was trying to plan my son's wedding and was clueless.... they both jumped right in, up to their knees, and made it work... and it was beautiful... just llike them.
Praying for God to send a peace that passes all understanding and a heavenly anesthesia... to carry you safely though this time of such great sorrow.
