Alyssa and Tucker Holtzclaw

To all of Alyssa's and Tucker's family:
Words are just so inadequate right now. I worked with Alyssa at the hospital for several years and she was just what everyone says she was: kind, compassionate, fun, always smiling, and loved her family so much. She is already missed. My prayers go out to all of you for comfort and understanding. We grieve on earth but the heavens are rejoicing at Alyssa and Tucker's homecoming.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time....

Alyssa, I was going through a box of yellowed photos from the mid 1980's of you, me, Tara, Shane and my brothers--we were all together at the Red Sea, your family and mine. It was a beautiful day as usual. You couldn't have been more than 4 years old tagging along in your swimsuit, your little black ringlet curls all over the place, and sand stuck to your chunky little brown legs. You had your hands on your hips and you were smirk-smiling at the camera. I think even then in some mysterious way you were letting everyone in on your secret. You knew more about life than all of us put together. You had it down. You lived it well. And God, so proud of you, took you and your son home. In my mind, you will always be that precious little girl standing on the beach in 1985. Rest now, Love. I'll see you both again one day. And the next time we meet we'll both laugh with joy as you fill us all in---the good that has come. And this time, I promise, Tara and I won't tell you to leave us alone... Alyssa has been such an important part of my life, and I will dearly miss her. She is probably the sweetest and funniest friend I have had. Yet she was strong and compassionate too. Few people carry all these qualities. She was there the day I met Bo, the day I was married, and held Aiden after he was born. The only peace that comes from this tragic situation comes from God knowing that she and her baby are there in heaven with him. I know no words help so I will keep all of you in my prayers. One of my favorite cards from Alyssa says you have to go thru the bad to feel the sunshine.

Carolyn I love ya and am so very sorry for your loss. My prayer for you and the family is that some day this will all make since. Until then may God give you comfort with all those wonderful memories of Alyssa and little Tucker!

Our love and prayers are with you now and the weeks and months to come. I know your hearts are hurting, I also know the Lord is right here with you at this time, we cannot get through something like this without Him. I pray for peace and comfort for your family and know that you will see Alyssa and Tucker again and will never have to say goodbye again. We love you.

There are no words to say how sorry we are for your loss , you are all in our prayers , may God comfort you and hold you close in this time of hurt. Psalms 91,1 He that dwelleth in the secret plase of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. In this time of darkness it isnt dark at all its only the shadow of Gods hand over you ,Todd and your two beautiful children. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, and Tucker well he was just precious.
