We are thinking of you and praying for you. I can see Uncle Son singing at the Marcontell Reunions in my mind. I remember the times with my grandpa, Arnold and Edmond and Mordie singing. Their music is part of the Marcontell heritage and it has been passed down to our family.

He will be dearly missed but I know he is with the Lord.

To all the family, Uncle Son has always been a man I looked up to for all that he stood for and the sincere love that he has shown me and all that knew him. I can still hear him singing songs like Rocking, Heaven's Glory Train (and so many more) and plan on joining him and the others again someday in song and praise. I will always treasure the times that daddy and I got to visit with him and talk about old times - hunting, singing, work, etc. I am terribly sorry that I cannot be at the viewing or funeral. I must go back to work Wednesday (1/12/11). My love and prayers are with you all, and he will be greatly missed! Ricky

I have so many great memories of Uncle Son and Aunt Leona. We were certainly blessed by their lives and I am thankful for the years of fellowship and laughter with them. May God comfort you during this very difficult time.

What a happy place Heaven must be right now. I can hear all of those beautiful voices joining back together like they did so many years ago. What an honor it is to be a part of this family and to know I grew up on the beautiful songs of the Marcontell Family.
