We are so sorry to hear of Chester's death. He was so much a part of Jim becoming Catholic and Jim will be forever indebted to his strong Catholic guidance and influence. He was a great man and will be remembered for all the wonderful deeds he did throughout his life. We are out of town and will not be attending the services but you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Roberta and Family, How lucky for me that some of my best childhood memories were shared with Chester. Our days at Peaceful Valley floating the river with Chester at the lead, walking the beach with us kids looking for sand dollars comes to mind. How he made the jelly fish sting go away by placing all of the steaks in the freezer on my legs. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To all the family of Dr. St.Romain - if it had not been for your father, my father would not have lived when he had the horrible wreck in 1970. He saved Daddy's life and we will always be grateful. I am always amazed when I see how and why God places someone in your life. Dr. St.Romain was a true hero to our family - as our lives could have turned a total different direction in 1970 - thanks to him - we had our Daddy. The Talley Family will always love him and grateful God placed him and all of you in our lives.
Most Sincerely, Dianne (Talley) Rutledge and all the other 6 Talley kids

When I gave birth to my son 40 yrs ago Dr. St. Romain was on call. I was upset since my doctor had promised to be there even if I delivered on Thursday his day off. Well I went to the hospital and my doctor had went to Houston for the day. Dr. St. Romain came and was a saint to this first time mother. When my doctor finally arrived Dr. St. Romain said you are going to miss me. After a few hours I wished I'd of had him instead of my doctor. He was the greatest
