Dr. Chester Joseph St. Romain

When I heard that Dr. St. Romain had passed away, my heart was sad. He delivered me and was mine and my family's doctor for many years. When I got married, he then became my own family's doctor and was my daughter's pediatrician for two years. He was a fantastic doctor. I wish every doctor could be like him. I really liked his "tell it like it is" attitude, but he was not rude about it. I thought about Dr. St. Romain very often and wondered what he was doing. I know that he will be greatly missed. I am deeply saddened by his passing and my family's thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Billy Wayne and I as well as our children are flooded with great memories. Your house, the Mallett house, the Rice's house then your house then the Mallett house (smiling), Peaceful Valley, the beach, Bandera and so many more fun times.May the Peace of the Lord be with all those touched by his caring and loving heart. He was a wonderful father, great physician, friend, mentor and American. Rest in Peace Dr. St. Romain.

Although there are many good doctors able to diagnose and treat patients, there are very few who have the gifted bedside manner and warm personality that Dr. St. Romain possessed. My husband, daughter, and I were blessed to have him as our family doctor for so many years. He was a superb, insightful doctor and wonderful man!

Our earliest memories when moving to the Nederland community are filled with the welcoming friendship of Chester and Roberta. Through the years we learned to appreciate what he brought to this community. Roberta and family, God bless and keep you all and know God is now enjoying his presence. Dr, St, Romain was the kindest person you would ever
want to meet, I know his daughter's felt the same way,
about their dad he was greatly loved.

Physicians like him do not come our way very often
He will be greatly missed by all of us,
