Our shipmate and friend has embarked on Eternal Patrol upon final orders from the Supreme Commander. He has shipped out to calm seas and warm breezes in the company of his shipmates who have gone before. He is welcomed by his loving God, and safely navigating the seas of eternity.

Rest your oar Sailor, we have the watch.

Thank you for your service to God, Family and Country.

My parents, Tom and Claire, and I will keep your family in our prayers. Rejoice in knowing that Sam has finally met his Father and Savior. Many fond memories of Sam from Cathederal in the Pines days.

Dear Margie, my prayer is for you, the children, and Glenna to find peace in knowing Sam is with our Heavenly Father. I know your grief but I also know that your faith will sustain you through this time of separation. Was thinking earlier today that Sam, Bob and Warren are teamed up again. That gave me a smile. You are such a special lady and I love you. Dottie

Through out the years that is has been my great privilige to have known Sam, he has always been to me an inspiration to strive to gain that higher plain of walk and revelation. I know full well that Sam is happier, healthier, and more joyful than he has ever been in this life. Marge, David, and Lisa I am deeply sorry for your loss and will continually support you all in prayer.

I rejoice with Sam BUT grieve with you all.

Sam was a wonderful person to know. He loved Jesus with all his heart. He loved his beautiful wife, family and people. If you ask Sam how are you he would always say I am bless. Now Sam is walking the street of gold with the one he loved so much, our Lord and Savior Jesus. We are going to miss you Sam. Our prayers are with the family always.

During the next days, months, and years your Lord will supply all your needs. Knowing Sam has been a great pleasure in my life and he will be missed by myself and the people who knew him. May God's peace be with the family.
