Ben was my first friend when I first moved to Crowley in the 60s. I'll always remember the good times we had together. Good bye my friend. Your friend Henry

I remember that he and his brother Charlie were pretty good athletes. I also remember that both had good appetites !

Ben's wife and Charlie and family: Ben and I used to 'run the streets' in Crowley as youngsters, play baseball together, and sit together in the movies at the Rice Theater on Saturday afternoons for the double-feature. Those were good days! So long 'Jackson and Roger Spry'. That was one of Ben's favorite movie scenes from those days that we always addressed ourselves as such when we saw each other! Adieu Ben!
