You will be missed...

My heart is very heavy for the loss of this beautiful child. I did not know Shelby, I wish I had. By the love that has been shown for her, she had to have had a loving and giving spirit. To her mom and dad, I pray God will comfort you and His grace will supply you strength to face the coming days ahead. To her sweet little sister, just know that Shelby will be watching over you from heaven. To all her friends...keep her spirit alive, cherish your memories of her, don't be afraid to remember her. God be with you all.

My heart breaks a little more every time I think of Shelby's family & friends. I don't know the right words or any words, actually to express how sorry I am for their loss. God give them all the strength they need to understand and cope, please.

I just wanted to say i love you sooo much. i'm sorry i never got to say that outloud to you. i'm glad i met you you truely are and always will be my bestfriend. i can't wait to see you again and get that warm hug and see that smile i miss soo much. well, keep watching over us angel <3 see ya later.

shelby. weve only talked a few times but every time we've talked you've brought a huge smile to my face. ill always remember you all the hilarious conversations about COFFEE! of all thins haha :)

Our youngest cousin was 17 on November 1, 2006. December 1, 2006, an intoxicated driver took Karmen and her mother, Rowena away from us forever in Port Neches. I have thought about Shelby constantly since hearing of her death and the circumstances leading up to it. Karmen was just beginning her future also, as a top student in her class at PN-G. Like Shelby, she was loved by everyone.

We have been where you are and where you will go in the months to come. We grieve with you. I hope to meet those who loved Shelby in the months to come. Please know that although we do not know your family personally, there are those of us who send you love, strength and peace during this terrible time. KSB

My heart bleeds for you & your family at such the tragic lost of your beautiful daughter. I know there are no words that can comfort the pain you must feel so I will just simply keep you, Robert, Hailey & your families lifted up in prayers. I pray that God wraps you in his arms & you find comfort in the days to come. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5.

My son is a year older than Shelby but has known her for several years. He told me she used to text him nearly everday & how much he's going to miss seeing her. I had seen her a few times but didn't know her myself, but the way Matt describes her she was a beautiful person both inside & out. As a Mom myself, I can only imagine the pain you all are feeling & am praying that the Lord will comfort & carry through this. From what I've seen your lovely daughter was highly thought of by everyone in our small town. God bless you--you all are in our familie's prayers.
