Jane Speer Anderson

I have wonderful memories about Jane and her sisters Kay and Ann. They lived across the street from me for many years. Jane's mom would buy beautiful "feed sacks" (remember them??) and my mom would sew us "beautiful" dresses. Ahh - those were the days!!!! Jane was tiny but had a big heart and always a lot of fun. I will always treasure my memories of Jane and her family.

Am so sorry about my friend, Jane. We were best friends back in the 60's when we lived in Port Neches. We had some wonderful good times and she would go to Many, La. to my Mother's house with me on the weekends. Jane told me many times she had never tasted fried chicken like that since.
Jane and I traveled to Atlanta to visit Jan Sterling Trimble several years ago - and what a wonderful time we had talking about the old times. I will miss visiting with her on the telephone. I am so glad she made the decision to move to Kay's, and how wonderful she was to invite her.
