Mike and Rhonda,
In 1994 Phil agreed to help me save a refinery that was destined for closure.
He moved a refinery from Winnie TX to Coffeyville Kansas.
Because Phil was wiling to take on difficult projects his legacy is crystal clear. He understood how to analyze and make things become reality. This ability he possessed has saved hundreds of jobs that are so important in this time frame.
His innovation allowed projects to happen.
There are not many great minds in this business today who can think ahead and visualize what the end result should look like. His God given talents were
not wasted. He pressed on and used them.
Nothing can take the place of persistence.
My friend was an innovator filled with excellent thoughts, expectations which produced results. Results count.
Working with Phil was fun. Our work together evolved into a lasting friendship.
These memories are pressed between the pages of my mind.
I will miss my colleague and friend.

Mike, Kelly, Natalie I am sorry to hear of the loss of this great man. My heart and prayers go out to all the Roebuck family. Find strength in your heart to remember all the success he made in his life and the legacy he leaves behind and all the lives he touched. I remember meeting him once while training Natalie and him talking to me about his grandkids and how proud he was of them. God Bless your family. Find strength in God knowing he is at peace now.
