We are so sorry to hear about Charlie. We did not learn of this until Tuesday night. We certainly would have been at the service/visitation yesterday and hope you realize how much we care. The Adkins' Family is very special to us and Charlie will be missed at our games! God bless each of you, and we will visit with you soon.

Rusty, Charlie & Dylan:

You have our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father and grandfather. It was inspiring to observe someone of Dr. Adkin's age as he continued to be active in his profession. And, it was our pleasure to share his enthusiasm as we watched out grandsons play ball on the same team.

I had the honor of working for Dr. Adkins in the early 90's at the Behavior Management Center. He was always a very kind and caring person. I know he will be missed by many.

We were blessed to have Dr. Adkins who was excellent to work with and had such a great sense of humor. He had such love for his wife and family. He was a great man and will trully be missed. He is keeping God laughing now.

I had the honor of working with Dr. Adkins for many years as he served the clients at Spindletop MHMR. He always had a cheerful heart and kind words for all the people he knew. He was an amazing man that I admired a great deal. His compassion was unparalleled and I truly believe he was an angel that walked the earth. He will be missed by so many people.
