Lee, I know you will miss your sweet A.P. He was one of a kind and made me laugh more at that party than I have ever laughed in my life. I will never forget how sweet he was and how much he obviously loved you and your family. He will be greatly missed by so many people.

A childhood friend from Sabine Pass Ave.

Artie Paul was my Godfather. its saddened me to hear of his passing. We did not keep in touch after i got older and it is a regret i will have to bear. i can still remember as a child ,Artie Paul coming through the front door of paw-paw and maw-maw Dearbonnes house with presents for me. a sailor suit once,a cowboy outfit another time. a small moment in time that is remembered 50 yrs later.

It was so good to see Artie about two months ago, after about a 20 year absence. We had a nice talk and he was still the same ole wonderful guy I knew when we went to Saint Anthony together. Tell Skip "hi" for me Darlin'. :)

It is truly a great loss of a wonderful person who made everyone feel better just by being in his presence. Artie Paul did, indeed, have the "Joie de Vivre," (joy of life) and he passed this along to everyone he met. He never met a stranger and everyone loved him.

Artie was a friend of my youth and he and his friend, Frank Kotz, used to chaperone me and my friends when we went dancing, and boy could he dance! I will always
cherish these memories and our friendship.

Lee, Am so very sorry for you loss. Artie was my buddy and dancing partner. We had some great memories. He has so many friends and we all loved him. May you always remember the good times and the memories you have of your life together.
