Brooke, LeAnn and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was one of the most brilliant and caring women I have ever met and she was an inspiration to many at SHS, myself included. She was always gracious, had a wicked sense of humor and always had time to listen to a joke or help when English just did not sink into my brain. I am thankful to have known her - and you - if only for a little while.

So shocked to hear just today about Mrs Flowers. She was one of my favorite teachers at SHS, and always encouraged my writing.
If I'd known she was in Lumberton, would have been visiting her regularly. I've the fondest of memories of her, and thought of her often throughout the years.
Thank you Mrs Flowers, you are missed.
