In her later years, Lucille always told me that I was "one of her favorite sons-in-law." I always responded by telling her that she was "one of my favorite mothers-in-law." She caught on pretty quickly that I like to tease (like Lonnie, her favorite and only brother-in-law, she always told me), and she could give as well as take in good spirits. We had a great relationship for over thirty years, and I was happy that I could do her and M. J. some real service in the last few of them, especially in getting out of the way of hurricanes. Nobody that I have ever known was more devoted to the well-being and interests of her family (immediate and extended) than Lucille Skaggs Foster. Bless her and R.I.P. I'll miss you!

Donna,
So sorry for your loss. I know you have had a tough go in the last couple of years, but you handled it with grace and dignity. You gave your parents the best love and care. What a great example you have been to me. I am praying for you.
Love ya, Staci Ishee
