Nan-naw, You were truly one of a kind. There were so many wonderful qualities about you as a person. You had a great sense of humor and a laugh that was un-mistakable...Thank you for always cooking and making sure we would have a good-time when we would come to visit you and pawpaw. I know you had your hands full with PawPaw (ha) but you would always just laugh and not pay him to much attention. We will miss you FOREVER and will NEVER forget about you. I know you are in a better place now that you are in Heaven. I love you Nan-naw....Shanna

We will miss Sis. Griffin, she was a very special lady, a really hard worker. She really cared about people, always making you feel so special when visiting them. After I moved to Alabama, when I would come home for a visit, she would always make me a buttermilk pound cake, she knew I really loved hers. That meant so much to me, it made me feel really special that she would take her time and do that for me!

We will truly miss Sis. Griffin, but she's in a much better place now!

To Bro. Griffin and the family we love you all so much and have been praying for you!

I can close my eyes and still hear your laugh! It was so infectious and would fill any room. You were always so good to us when we would come and visit. You were the best cook and never seemed to mind cooking for us, almost the entire time we were there! One of my fondest memories was the time you had saved coupons from Casa Ole (Mexican Restaurant) and you gave each one of us a buy one, get one free burrito. We all were thinking small burritos like from Taco Bell.... But when they brought out burritos the size of a platter; 2 for each person; Our table was FULL of burritos! People in the restaurant was staring at us and we were all dying laughing! We had so many "to go" boxes when we left there and we laughed about that for years. I think PawPaw called you a "bone head" a few times over that one! haha! You were such a good sport though and I alwasy had the best time when you were around. I love you and will miss you! Until we meet again Nannaw! De

I thank God for putting you in my life at 10 years old; at an age where a young girl needs a mother the most! I have such fond memories of you teaching me how to sew and cook. And I can remember all the hours we spent picking in the garden and how hot it was and how we hated it! You were always a good sport though about everything and had the best laugh. My kids always loved how after driving 6 hrs to visit you and Daddy, you would ALWAYS have something so delicious cooked for us! If it wasn't for you, I would have never met my husband and I would have not had a mother figure in my life for the last 42 years. Thank you for being good to Daddy and for loving me. You will be greatly missed! I love you Nannaw!

God sent you to my daddy. I have never known anyone with so much love in their heart. You were always thinking of others and put yourself last. You were truly a blessing. I never heard one unkind word or one complaint come from your lips. Thank you for loving my father. You will be truly missed.
