My sympathy is with Mrs. Smith's family. She was really a nice lady. I can remember how much fun it used to be years ago to walk from the school to their store and buy candy. So sorry for your loss.

Aunt Ann was a wonderful person and she will be missed. Some of my favorite memories growing up were spending Easter at her house with the family. We had such fun looking for Easter eggs and enjoying everyone. Aunt Ann, Uncle Fred, Jim and Suzanne always made us feel so welcome. I loved being there because it like such a warm and happy house. I remember the crazy little monkey that lived up in the trees for awhile. He made us laugh hysterically at some of the things he did. Mom was afraid we'd get rabies but Aunt Ann said, "Oh Harriett, they are just having fun. Let them be." You always knew were Aunt Ann stood and what she was thinking. I would like to think I am a little like her in that way. I am sorry that I live so far away that I have not seen all of you in so long. Over the years I have shared my memories with my kids so they know that there was an Aunt Ann and an Uncle Fred and hopefully, they will pass that down to their kids. Aunt Ann and Uncle Fred may be gone but will never be forgotten. May God Bless all of you and you find comfort in knowing that she is in a better place. With love, Kelly

Aunt Ann made our summer reunions great fun. Memories of those days have been with me thru-out my entire life. I remember road trips with her, where we would stop every few miles so she could take pictures of wild flowers. We were blessed to have her in our lives. She will be missed.

She sings because she's happy. She sings because she's free. From her cares He has set her free... for all eternity. Blessing and peace to you in this time of loss.

Mrs. Smith was my third grade teacher. She was a wonderful lady. I have thought of her so many times over the years. I remember the grocery store too. Mr. Smith always had a smile on his face. That seems so long ago. Their family and friends are also in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Smith taught me in the third grade from 1974-1975 and played a major role in my years at Hardin-Jefferson. I recall her taking me under her wing and instilling in me a love for reading, which I had never had. Everytime I read a book I think of her smiling face and gentle ways.
I recall one day after I graduated from high school, seeing her at the intersection working on those beautiful flowers. I was with an older friend who knew her and she looked at me and remembered who I was after all that time. We had a wonderful visit, while I helped her weeding those flowers. I always made time to chat with her, if I saw her after that day.
What a dear, dear lady and what a wonderful addition to God's Heaven. Know that she has touched countless lives with her encouragement, kindness and graciousness and take comfort in the fact that she is "home" now.

To all the Family, Your Mom was a very precious & special person. She taught me in Third Grade, she would stop & talk with my granmother & I about the birds & flowers. She was a joy to visit with. She was always smiling and looking out for the community, the flowers & others. God bless you all & cherish all those beautiful memories. Our prayers & thoughts are with you all. Love, Eva Mae, Phillip Winegeart & Eva Marie
