It's hard for me to believe it has been two years since I've seen you Jerry. I think of you EVERY day. When watching Andy Griffith, when listening to Elvis, Ronnie Milsap, Moe Bandy or seeing your coffee at the grocery store or the Astros, I always see your face & hear your laugh. I thank God for placing a sweet, kind, loving & funny man in my life for 33 years. You were and are such a positive influence in my life. I thank God for drawing me nearer to HIM and being with me every second as I poured my heart out to HIM. I'm thankful for the new lessons he's teaching me. I would be nothing without HIM. You will always hold such a special place in my heart & I look forward to seeing you again. Love, Judy

Judy and Family,
I am thinking of you all, and I wish I could come and sit with you for a while and lift up our hearts together. Jerry's personality has always been cheerful and full of life, ever since I met him. He has truly impacted my life. I am thinking of you all as you face each day. May you walk each step in His care and provision. Thank you all for welcoming me into your family. Know that you are often in my thoughts. Love, Michelle

To the most loving Dad that anyone could ever have.....I was blessed to have you as my father. I don't think it's truly hit me yet that you are really gone. Maybe that's why I had a dream last night that you were still here with us. I know and trust that you will watch over Mom and I each and everyday. I find comfort in knowing that we will all be together again one day. Until then, I will take care of Mom like you always did and be there for her as her heart aches and as it heals......I can promise you that. I Love You Very Much - Suzanne..........

My Dear Jerry, It has been twenty days since I've seen you. I miss you so much. I know without a doubt, that you are with the Lord and I am so at peace with that. Because I love you so deeply and I love and have faith & trust in the Lord, I've realized that you were just too tired to continue on. I know God's timing is PERFECT. So, I'm so happy for you. I only want the best for you, that's what marriage is all about. We always wanted the best for each other. You and I once heard that "Music is the soundtrack to ones life." You were such a music lover, that every time I hear music, it will make me think of you. You always listened to your Hymns from Elvis CD and it calmed you on a stressful day, so I'm gonna try that. You have been such a great influence on so many lives and taught me and Suzanne so much. These lessons will always be with us. We were great communicators to each other, which I think was key to our marriage. That's what I miss most, our conversations because we talked, talked, talked. I wanted to express my thoughts on paper today, just as you often did, which was one of your many talents. You were great at expressing yourself. I miss seeing your smile everyday. I love you with all of my heart. JUDY

My brother-in-law Jerry could always light up a room with his smile and corny humor. I will never forget when I was a troubled teenager he sent me Bible verses. Just a few weeks ago, I needed to know a verse from the Bible. I asked Judy over the phone, she turned to Jerry and he popped the chapter and verse right out. AMAZING! You were always posting about Christ on fb and reaching out to others.
Just a few hours before he went to be with Christ, he posted this on his facebook wall
"When HE was on the cross I was on HIS mind!!!!!!!!!!! If you know this is true press like.:) "
Jerry you are not just on his mind, you are now with HIM.
Thanks for being a great brother-in-law. Thank you for wonderful memories.
God Bless you, you are now watching over all of us. Love, Lynda, Kim & Ike
