Teresa, We met and became friends in Guam and I know I haven't seen you since then, but it seems like we were old friends no matter what. I only know one way to describe you and remember you. . . my crazy redheaded friend. You will be missed. My heart goes out to your family. God Bless!!

It was with such sadness that we learned of Teresa's passing this past Sunday. Our fondest memory is during her time with KAAM in Dallas TX - we had just been married two months and my husband won a contest that took us out to dinner at Vincent's Seafood in an limo and Teresa joined us for dinner! We laughed and told stories which have been with us for almost 15 years now. Please know that Teresa touched many lives and please keep theses stories close to you . In deepest sympathy...the Wylie's

I never met Teresa. We were blogging friends. I was always amazed by her humor, strength and her love for her family. I will always regret that we never met for that cup of coffee that we spoke about (through e-mails) often. God bless all of you. She was a bright light for those of us who knew her only slightly. I know she will be missed.

In high school, I decided to give Theatre Arts a try, and Teri was the first one to welcome me. I remember being in awe of her gorgeous red hair and beautiful smile! When I saw her at the reunion a few weeks ago, that smile was still so present, and I'm happy that I got to give her a big hug. Teri's family: you are in my prayers daily. Thank you for sharing Teri with the rest of us!

It's difficult to write something suitable to express the thoughts and emotions that came flooding when I learned of Teri's death. From the time we met in Jr. High school and through our continued friendship, Teri was full of life, full of inspiration, full of talent, full of smiles, and full of hopes and dreams. Every part of her was sunshine. Teri was a true joy to be around. Though we went separate ways after high school, we remained friends of the heart, and reconnected before her diagnosis of cancer. At our class reunion, we searched each other out. Teri looked good, never complained, and seemed to have beaten this dreaded beast that took her from us. Throughout her fight, she remained hopeful, refused to accept defeat, and refused to accept pity. She was strong and courageous in so many ways. A piece of my heart died with Teri, and I doubt I will ever stop missing her.

I had the pleasure of watching Teresa tame Brian..and then make him shine as a husband and father. Teresa will be missed by our entire family. With love and prayers, Godspeed sweet sister-in-law-in-law. Brian and Abby, know that you are loved.
