Teresa Hanson Burns

What an inspiration!! Teresa was at every recital rehearsal with a huge smile, never complained and loved that baby girl from the enter most being!! We will all miss her huge smile and can do attitude..love and prayers to Abby and her Daddy!!

I will remember Teresa as a wonderful mother, great friend, and the most positive person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

We have but just a short time to touch the lives of so many, to make our mark...our contribution...Teresa, you did this all with such beauty and such unbelievable strength...you shined...we noticed. Our memory of you will be one of amazing grace...we are so grateful that we were able to see you and give you hugs before you left us!!!

I had not seen Theresa since high school, when she wore the longest, prettiest auburn hair I have ever seen. When she joined Facebook, we had a discussion about my life as a gay person, and the discrimination I encounter, because she wanted to understand my viewpoint. I appreciated that. I am so pleased that she spent so much quality time with Abby last year and this year, because she loved her very much.

From day one, Teresa shared our vision for the radio station. She "got it". She jumped in with both feet and her wonderful smile on her face and in her voice. She made great contributions and was an encourager for her colleagues.

I pray that when we meet again, God will allow us to do it over again and continue with what we all started together.
I also pray for His blessing on Brian and Abby.

I have such wonderful memories of Teresa when she came to Colorado in March to teach Abby how to ski. It made her so happy to be on the slopes again. The first time we saw a valley of snow in the mountains, she wanted to stop and play in it. She, Abby, and Brian built a three feet tall Snow Bunny that was beautiful. It was delightful to hear her laugh. I was so glad to have that special time with all of you. The sunshine she spread to all she met will forever be in my heart. Brian, my dear friend, and Abby, long may our memories remain. I love you so much!

What a beautiful person!! Teresa was always so strong & always had a positive attitude that made her shine. She will be greatly missed. Praying for her family.

I was Teri's high school Biology teacher at Newman Smith High School in Carrollton. She was such a good kid. She worked hard, was very polite, and always had a smile for me when she entered the classroom.

Teresa and her family mean the world to us at Irule Dance. She has been an inspiration and role model to so many of us. She rests now painless and will be watching over us. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family.

The world was a better place having you in it. I was privileged to see first hand how you spread your joy and love onto everyone around you. My life is better for having had you in it. I will cherish all the times we sat and chatted. You are an inspiration and will forever be remembered. I love you, Teresa. You will be missed so very much. May He raise you up on eagle's wings straight to Heaven. I will see you there.
