Our hearts are so heavy, and the tears just keep falling. We told Parker, who is at the Jamboree, and he is grieving also. We are praying for God's peace to reach your hearts. Treasure your memories of the amazing child you brought into our world. We will all keep praying for your family. Charlene and Steve Meek

Tara and I are deeply saddened that you are going through this right now. I didn't know Austin but Tara has told me a lot about him. Losing a child has to be the worst possible thing. I know you are strong and your faith is strong and that will help you get through this. Know that Austin's life touched many. Think of him as living in the hearts of the many he touched. Nothing loved is EVER lost. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.

I really dont have the words to express my sympathy to you all-Austin was a great kid and will be terribly missed. One thing for sure is he has a brand new heart that will last forever now and soon we will see him again. Our hope in Jesus gives us that. I love you all and lots of hugs and love your way.

My last, and one of my favorite memories of Austin was the day he brought his guitar to my class. He would switch between sixties music, country-western, and praise and worship with ease. He was a very talented and personable young man. One of the last things he said to me was, “I’ll see you in AP Chemistry next year.” I will miss having him in my class when school starts. Our prayers are with Austin’s family and friends. Unto God’s gracious mercy and protection we commit you. And the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be upon you and remain with you forever.

To the Hillard family, Austin meant so much to us, he was like a member of our family. He was the best friend Fritz ever had, I can see the loss in his eyes. Austin will be remembered and loved in our family, he has touched our lives in a way that carries on forever. We will see him again, with our heavenly father! We send much love from our family to yours, Fritz, Louise, Dani, Fritz II, Ashley, and Heather
