David "King" Gene Martin

One thing for sure is that things will not be the same with out you. You where such a big part of my life. You tought me a lot about many things and about life in general, and that the finer things in life can not be bought. You are one of the best men I have ever known. From frying turkeys to remodeling houses, and from golf to hunting we have shared a lot. With memory after memory I am thankful you where my father-n-law. I am not realy sure what you thought the first time I knocked on your door for your daughter. But you excepted me any way. I am glad we had our talks. I am glad we played our golf. I am glad we got to know each other the way we did. You where like a father to me over the last twenty years. I will miss you greatly.

As friends we cannot express in words how sorry and broken hearted we are about Dave.He was a truly great friend with a great sense of humor.RIP Dave you will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

To my dad whom i love so much, it is so hard to imagine life without you. You were always there when i needed you .You were my first call for help and you never failed me. Your heart was bigger than life itself. You put everyone else first. You are loved by so many. I will miss the smile on your face when your grandchildren walked thru the door i have never seen such a tough man turn so soft. You tought me so much in life. I miss you ,your baby girl Tiana.

Kathy and family, you had my deepest sympathy on your loss of your husband and father. I have many, many fond memories of Dave and me from our youth together in Weirton and I will miss him dearly and his gentle smile and grin when we always met. May God Bless you and yours in your time of need.

I am deeply saddended to hear of your loss. Dave was a wonderful man. He helped my son David in more ways than can be told. I remember the tee shirts my son had made that said Big Dave on his and little Dave on Dave's. The two would laugh so much. He treated my son like he was normal even with all of his handicapps. David so much looked forward to all the time he would spend with Dave. He will be missed so much. RIP our friend, Kathy you and your family are in our prayers.
