I feel extremely fortunate that Aunt Ida came into my life. When I immediately met her, I knew she was a "pistol." Her vivaciousness was never ending. Her love for her family was clearly evident. When we would exchange cards in the mail, she would always draw a picture of herself with a note "Ida walking to Denver." I would always chuckle reading her entertaining notes. Aunt Ida touched my heart greatly as I am sure she touched everyone's hearts who crossed her path. She will be greatly missed but will remain in my heart.

Ms. Ida you will be missed for a very long time. What a wonderful mother and grandmother you were. I know that your family is grieving for you at this time -- but remember, she is with her Lord and is finally free of pain. Our prayers are with all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Aunt Ida was always so much fun and made you laugh all the time. She will be so missed by all of those who were privileged to know her. We are thankful that she is sitting at the feet of Jesus drinking her bottle of orange drink. She really loved that stuff. She will always be remembered by us and we will truly miss her. We love you and will keep you in our prayers in the days to come.

Our prayers and love are with each of you during this time. Mrs. Ida was truly a 'character' in her own right and she loved it, too! I don't guess I ever saw her when I didn't see that sweet smile! I know she is smiling big again now as there is no more suffering.
May the Lord cover each of your with His tender arms of comfort in the next days to come.
We love you all!

My condolences go out to all of Ida's family, especially Ike and Betty. I knew Ida and all of her family when they lived in Beaumont and we were all small. Her Daddy, Uncle Edward, was brother to my Grandpa, George. I really enjoyed her visits to Fannett when we discussed the Hargraves family and she gave me a lot of information and pictures. She was such a jolly, sweet person and I enjoyed having her as a cousin. The last time I saw her was at my Mom's funeral. Rest in Peace, Ida.

Dan, Lala and family, I will miss Miss Ida. It wasn't until she joined our Wednesday night Bible study that I really got to know her. She was a real character who could make us laugh. She touched our lives in a special way. I know she is with our Lord and her pain is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I love you and send my heartfelt sympathy.

Lala, Dan & family, I am so sorry to hear about Ida. I just want you to know how much we enjoyed her visits to our office, she was always in a good mood and such a "hoot". We will always remember and talk about the tornado at Walmart and remember Ms. Ida. lol God has a great plan for her in heaven. Let us know if you need anything. Love, Karen
