I was in the graduating class of '53 with Jerry. I will always remember the great job he did with the reunions of our class at Beaumont High School. With time, precious memories settle into our hearts and mind, quietly waiting to be called upon, always willing to remind us that the spirit of love never goes away. May you find comfort at this difficult time.

My dear Pat, My heart hurts for your loss. As you travel this road ahead for you, accept the solace of your friends and know that we are here for you and your family. Jerry was the fun guy and always a joy to his friends. I'm grateful to have known him and grateful for your friendship. Much Love, Erin

We were so sad to receive the news. Jerry has always been one of our favorite friends and we both loved him, as we do Pat. We have shared many wonderful times together and send our deepest condolences. We are in the northeast and regret that we can't express our feelings in person to Pat and the family.

Dear Pat, Michael and I would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Jerry was our "gate keeper" neighbor...always watchful, right Pat? You both welcomed Michael and I on to the street with smiles and adventure. I will remember his kindness and ever present smile. Next growing season I will help you keep the birds away from his tomatoes with red Christmas balls. We're here if you need anything, Cindy and Michael Lindsay

My deepest sympathies to Pat, Brad and Dena and the rest of Jerry's family. I have known Jerry since Averill school and he was the kind of person that though you might not see him often when you did catch up, he was the same as always, happy, and smiling and making jokes. My favorite memory is the picture in the Pine Burr '53 of Bill Ross, Jerry and Jack Horkan. It was Fronteir day but they dressed in 'zoot suits' as cool cats and they were! Jerry chaired so many reunions for the class of '53 and he was known as a friend to all. We'll miss him mightly. Love, Cynthia Robichaux Smith
