Aunt Weesie,
You were a "Great Aunt" and the title fit. You were always glad to see me and greeted me with a hug and a "Hey my Baby". I know that a party was waiting for you up there, and a big man longing for the last 17 years to greet you with open arms. I will miss you dearly and look forward to hearing your familiar voice greeting me when its time to enter His gates. Until that time comes, I will cherish all the memories made at your house.

Love Always,
John Paul

To the family of Wessie Courts. I was so sad to hear Aunt Wessie has ended her very long journey here on earth. Now her new journey begins in Heaven with her Lord. I will always cherish the time I had with such a special lady. What a dear, sweet, precious, kind soul. I will always remember how very percious she was to me. Aunt Wessie, always had a smile on her face and a place for you at her table. She always said, "Baby you want something to eat?" I will always remember the many talks we had but one thing I will never forget is when she told me. I had seven little pair of shoes to polish and lined them along the wall . God bless you Aunt Wessie. Rest well you have earned your place in Heaven. You will always be my favorite Aunt. I appreciate you telling me I will always be your favorite Neice.
My love thoughts and prayers are with your family. I love you Aunt Wessie.

I have such fond memories of Aunt Weesie when many family lived in the "Courts" Compound. We'd all gather at Aunt Weesie's and she would always put on the coffee and have something sweet. We'd sit and laugh - Herman, Tillie, Coley ... those were the days. Life was so simple then. Such lovely memories!
