Dr. Tanner, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. I didn't know her, but I always heard what a wonderful lady she was. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. II Thessalonians 3:16

What a moving summary of Mrs. Tanner's life. She was a big part of my youth, and I can attest to the line that whenever "her kids" (real and befriended) needed anything they could call Mrs. Tanner and she would instantly make herself available.
She was a character, and it makes me smile when I think about those days. I'm typing this from an airplane, but really wish I could be there today to celebrate her life.

The tennis community has lost a friend. Nancy played by the "rules". I remember her contagious laugh! I will miss her.

Rest in peace Mrs Nancy. You were an incredible woman. Not sure when I will see another 75 year old woman out on the court playing singles against a women less than 1/2 her age and expecting to win. Thanks for all you did for tennis in our community.

Very sorry to hear about Nancy's passing. I had the pleasure of playing mixed doubles with her a time or two. She and her love of the game will be greatly missed by the tennis community.
