My heart goes out to all of you.No one should have to endure the loss of both parents in such a short time span.Both Godfrey and Larue ,were two of the sweetest,kindest people I've ever met,who touched everyone's life that they came in contact with.I'm sure they are happily reunited in Heaven watching over you all..I bet Heaven's golf team just got a lot better too.

Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Godfrey was a very special person with a big heart! He touched both of us and left great memories from years ago. Gene told me one of his best memories was of him, his brother C.J. and Tommy riding in the back of Godfreys pickup truck going to baseball practice! He was admired, respected and loved by both of us.

Though the voice is quiet, the spirit echos still....I love the picture you chosen!! Thats the way I will remember him.. Randy and Gary, Tommy, Charlene and Darla are all a testament as to what kind of man Mr. Choate was. He was such a dear, kind and gentle man, and I feel truly blessed to have been, even a small part in your lives... And he loved his grandchildren! He will be deeply missed.
