To The Family of Ted, I extend my deepest Sympathy. I cherish the memory of our WCHS 40th Class Reunion in White Castle, La. in October 2009, when I had the chance to spend time with Ted and Nuria, and catch up on his life. He was a great person, and I will always remember all the good times in High School.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

Our thoughts and prayers go with all of the Caffarel's. It was my privilege and honor to work for Ted at PSP. A noble man and a great boss. Still remember working with Wade at the office and having lunch talking about planes and baseball.

A tragic loss but no surprise that Ted gave his life in the assistance of others.

May we all rest assured that Ted is in a better place and making it even better.

Ted was my first real boss and a great influence on me. I am thankful that I had the chance to let him know that I would not be where I am today if it were not for the opportunity and training he provided me. I will always remember the times we went out flying together. As a Northeast Texan, Ted introduced me to the crawfish and I still use his recipe today.
Good bye friend.
Sincerely,
Carl Wiedenfeld

I, as well as many others, feel a great loss at Ted's passing. Even if you hadn't seen Ted for awhile, you always knew he would be the same and would always be there for you when needed. There never was anyone like him. He will be greatly missed.

I am so saddened and wish to express my deepest sympathy to all of Ted's family, friends and especially his mom at the loss of Ted. You,
as I, have been, so blessed to know and to be a part of Ted's life. There is so much I want to say, but my heart is spilling over with so many
words that I am lost. Though Ted was married to my first cousin Susan, (I guess he was my first cousin-in-law – smile) he and I always
only called each other “CUZ” after meeting some 30+ years ago.

Ted never met anyone, Ted only touched people. Because after meeting Ted Caffarel, one knew that they had been “touched”, and never forgot him. Touched, by love,,, touched by a big smile,,, touched by a hug,,, touched by a very hearty hand shake,,, touched with honest words of laughter, care and sincerity. My deepest condolences to Ted's family and friends.

I have been BELESSED,,, I have been TOUCHED,,, WHAT A “CUZ”...

It is hard for me to believe that I will not be able to call again and say, "hey, It's me". Ted was one of my best friends. He stood up in my wedding and wore the kilt with pride. One of the kindred souls in my life. I will miss him daily. I know that the years we've known him, he was very happy. Thank you to all of you who made him so.

Wade.

I never knew your Dad but I can see if only the smallest bit of him rubbed off on you he will no doubt be sorely missed.

Thinking of you and your family.
