I love you Rob. I love you Heather. Losing Alyssa was really hard for me and I didn't even see her much, so I can imagine how hard it must be for yall. "I wish Heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and the day before that too. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part. God has you in his arms...I have you in my heart."

I wish that you would never have to feel the pain that you are feeling now. I know that pain never goes away, but it will be less painful as time goes by. I am very sorry for your loss. I do not know your family, but I know your pain, I lost my 17 year old son in november 2008. there will be darkness and sorrow for the rest of our lives, but we will also find small moments of joy. I pray that God will wrap you in his loving, comforting arms and help you on this journey. we never ask for the title of grieving parent, nor do we want to wear these horrible concrete shoes, but someday, I hope we find a way to make them a little more comfortable until we can be with our children again. I will pray for your family.
