John was a childhood friend and classmate. We served in bootcamp together and even work together for a short time. I feel I have lost more than a friend. I regret that we did not do a good job of staying in touch. I know that he is waiting at the 19th hole for a playing partner. Best wishes to his immediate family.

I am praying for you all now and in the days to come. He was such a nice person and friend. His smile matched his personality - captivating. He loved his family and golf. He will be missed.

I am truly sadded and the loss of such a joyous, loving man. I didn't know Uncle John for very long, but in the small amounts of time that I spent with him, he always had a smile on his face and he always made me laugh. My heart and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. The pain never lessens but in time you learn to cope, I know this is not new to you. Please know that Craig and I are here for you. Sending lots of love and prayers...Michelle Hart

We were so sorry to hear about your dad. We just found out last night about his passing, and didn't really know any other details. We have so many great memories of him...he was always so inviting and accepting of everyone, always had a smile on his face, and was an awesome band chaperone!! I know it's been a really long time since we've seen you guys, but your dad is someone you never forget!! We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

We are deeply saddened for your loss. John was a great man who over the past 20 years took the time out to teach me everything I know in using chemistry in the industrial market. He always told me to forget almost everything I learned in college and to just listen and pay attention to him. He was a wonderful mentor and friend. I was blessed to have been able to work beside John and Jon Jon for so many years. he will be greatly missed by all who have known him.
