Mrs. Herring was my typing teacher at S.P. and what a wonderful teacher she was. So beautiful and sweet. She's one of the few teachers that you always remember and miss. My sympathy to the family.

Your family is so blessed to have had such a precious lady as Mom and Grandmother. Mrs. Herring was my VOE teacher during my senior year (class of 1979). Even though it was a very difficult year for her she carried it off with such grace and poise. At the end of the year she invited the entire class to her beautiful home on Todd Street. She made us all feel so special. I will always remember her beautiful, kind spirit.

Pat and Mike, Your Mom and I had so much fun for several years, going out to eat, and dancing and just plain having fun. Virginia and Libby and Tom were also part of our "group". Your Mom had an infectiuous laugh and other people in the restaurant always wanted to join our table because we were having fun. My thoughts and prayers are with you. hugs, Janet

Dear Pat, Mike, and family, Jeannie, as I have known her since I was a little girl, will truly be missed by all. She was a very gracious kind soul and I always looked forward to her sweet words and gentle hugs. My trips to Deport will be missing a piece without a visit with her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I know all the wonderful memories you have will help get you through this tough time. Love to you all.

Mrs. Herring was my 9th grade English teacher in 1959 and made an impact in my life by stressing the importance of using correct English. Later on, we became friends, and were on first name basis. In 1993, I opened a tea room and she was a frequent customer and always complimented me and gave me encouragement. She was one of the treasures that made South Park the wonderful community we grew up in. She will always be remembered for her grace and beauty. Thank you Mrs. Herring aka Beverly for being my teacher and my friend. You will be missed by many people.
