It's hard to believe that such a beautiful person is gone so fast. We will forever cherish the memories we shared with you. You have made this world a better place. Your contagious smile, hilarious sense of humor, witty jokes, and all of the funny impersonations you would do to make us all laugh. But most of all the countless inspiring words you always said and helped others with, before putting yourself first. You were an angel on earth and we know you are now. We were so proud of you and happy that you finally found God on Easter Sunday, and seeing you regularly at Bible Study. We are sad you are no longer with us to share all of these things with, but understand that you're finally at peace and not in any more pain. There will not be a day that goes by, that I do not think about you. We'll be praying for your Mom and family in hopes they find strength through this very tough time. I miss you already. And hope that we will meet again one day for one of our many funny adventures. We love you Genea! And will leave it with another one of your MANY funny goodbye statements.....

"Be Careful, and if you aren't careful, name it after Me!"

On behalf of Harbor healthcare family, may I express our deepest sympathies to the family. Genea was an outstanding, compassionate nurse and valued team member at Harbor. She was loved by all the staff and patients. She will be truly missed.

Well words couldnt possibly express the deep pain and heart felt tears that have crossed my path in recent days...You meant the world to me and my son, the countless studing nights to get ourselves through nursing school, to the travels we shared, and the places we lived together, and the countless of birthdays and holidays spent with one another....you had a very special way of making everyone laugh around you, with your quick witt ecspecially! You where my sister and have been for a very long time, one of the last words i said to you is that i Loved you with all my heart and will always hold you close and near, as i know you would do the same....now my lady bug angel you will be, I promis to take good care of your mom and look after mine up there! I will see you one day my sister and will miss you deeply! DRE

Genea-
My best friend, I can't believe you are gone. I keep expecting a call and your famous "hey sweet pea" on the other end. You were so excited to be in the delivery room with me for Mikayla's birth... I am going to miss your smiling face, your words of encouragement, and our many fun nights together. Emma will forever remember her Big Genea. We miss you so much girl. I hope you are finally at peace now with Him. Ladybug love forever,
Allison and Emma

What an impact you have had on each and every one of our lives. You may have parted with this world, but my friend, your spirit will live on. Your presence will be greatly missed but your smile will be a vision never forgotten. I love you G!!!
