To the Hidalgo Family: Mark was a well respected co-worker and solid contributor to the many successes of the Beaumont Refinery. His leadership, honesty and integrity will be values I remember most. Mark was instrumental in establishing Beaumont as a leader in Worker Safety. His representation and support of co-workers in labor relations matters will always be appreciated by management and union members alike. Mark will be missed. I'd like to offer my sympathy and prayers to the family for your loss.

Kay & family, Our deepest, heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Mark was loved by so many and trusted by all. It was an honor working with him. His example was one of trust and committment. When you spoke with Mark, he listened; and you knew no matter what you told him, it stayed right there with him. The most amazing thing was that he was that way with everyone - - - a true friend to all. His committment was immeasureable, as well you know. No matter what his involvement, he gave it his all and it was always excellent. Even to the end, he was leading by his courageous and faithful example. My life is richer having known him, and if there is just one thing I could say to him today, it would be "thank you." Our love and prayers are with each of you.

Kay, My deepest sympathy to you and all family members and friends. I am so saddened by the loss but thankful that Mark is no longer in pain. His faith has been a wonderful testament to me and all who knew him. I regarded Mark as a friend and feel lucky to have known him. He was compassionate to all and cared deeply about you, his family and his 'family' at the Refinery. Those of us who knew Mark are better for it and we can only hope to learn from his example on how to live life to it's fullest; serving others and in God's grace.

To the Hidalgo Family, Randy and I would like to express our sadness upon hearing about Mark's passing. Randy had just saw Mark at Dr. Proctors office and had a nice conversation with him. I am so sorry that we are out of the state right now and cannot attend his funeral service. Mark was a great employee and representative for Mobil Oil/Exxon and also was Randy's neighbor growing up and he will be missed by a lot of people. You are all in our prayers.

Curtiss and I would offer our deepest sympathy to the entire Hidalgo family. Our tie to your family is through American Brittany Rescue where Justin is a volunteer with us. Kay, we would like to compliment you on the job that you and Mark have done with your son. He is an outstanding person - kind and generous, and that is a direct reflection of your love as a couple and as parents. The greatest gift we, as parents, can leave is our children who will make this world a better place... you and Mark were certainly successful. We know there is nothing that can change the emptiness and the pain of this loss right now. However, reading other entries about the joy of Mark's very excellent, full and generous life will hopefully be something you can rest in and celebrate. Mark is now occupying a mansion in God's House... Our continued prayers for your family, Melba and Curtiss Lanham
