David.
You have my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. I am sorry that words are of little comfort at times like this.

As the Hicks children grew up, Jack, Myra and Mike, were like extra siblings. When David and Jill arrived, that was extra excitement to have babies around. The memories of the Manning family are deeply treasured and Jack will be missed by many. May God bless you all and let the memories be consoling to each of you.
Love, Marion Hicks Tanner

Hi Dave! Wes and I just viewed the Keepsake Video. Wow. That was great. We felt we knew your dad after seeing it. We have thought of you and your family and friends a lot today. Peace be with you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family with the passing of Jack. He's no longer suffering and in a better place. God be with all of you in your time of sorrow.

Jack, Myra and my cousin, Kenny Kimler, were all around the same age. The three of them were very close to my mother, Mary Tommie Kimler Morrison and to their aunt Polly Manning. I remember how Jack would carry me around on his shouldars when I was little. I always liked him and we thought of him as part of our family too. He was considered to one of my mother's nephews and was one of her pallbearers as were her "actual" nephews. Jack will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
God bless each of you.

Our family will miss Jack. He gave us conversation, but most of all laughter. Sitting around that kitchen table telling old stories that we had all heard a million times as kids. The old navy stories were some of the best! One dream he had about my son Ryan was one I never forgot. He and Ryan were going somewhere but Ryan was small to put in his pocket. Jack kept telling him to be quiet so no one would hear them.
