Dustin was in my College Success Skills class at LIT during his first semester. He was an excellent student who told me he wanted to be a border patrol agent. I remember him fondly. My life is richer for having known him.

To Chaney's family,
Thank you for allowing Patriot Guard Riders-Golden Triangle to Stand Tall and Silent for his service to our country in the US Marine Corp. His life may have been cut short, but God needed another Marine to watch over the Veterans serving abroad and stateside. May God comfort and bless each of you...may you know Chaney will never be forgotten.

Glory, I do not know what to say - I loved Dustin so much and have so many amazing memories from Trinity Lutheran Church. Dustin had one of the biggest smiles, hearts for people and loved to make me laugh. He was a good friend to go to when I needed someone to back me up. I trust in the Lord's beautiful plan of redemption shown on the cross of Christ that leaves us all filled with the hope that we will be with Dustin, and Jesus once again. Dustin will always be remembered for his service, sacrifices and for being an amazing person. If you need anything, please let me know. I love you both very much.

Gloria & Family,
We all go through life expecting to bury our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc., but nobody ever expects to bury their child. Nobody can truly understand what it feels like until they have been in your shoes. You are all in my prayers. P.S. Dustin, the day will come when we will meet again. R.I.P. Love, Andy

Gloria,
I was shocked and so sad to hear about Dustin's death. I know he was the light of your life. Your family and your "Marine family" will be such a help in getting you through this terrible time. But your strong faith and the knowledge that Dustin is with God our Father will sustain you during times that you think you won't be able to go on.
You will remain in my thought and prayers.

Dear Gloria, Beverly, Martha & Ray Jr.,

Words could never express the shock and sadness I felt for you when Martha called and told me Dustin was gone.

I remember the graduation party Berith had for Dustin with the family and what a fine young man he had grown to be. I still remember him when he was about 8 or 9 and we had family get-to-gethers at Uncle Oscar and Aunt Agnes' home in Katy.
He was such a sweet little boy.

He was in my daily prayers when he was in Iraq and prayers of thankfulness when he returned safely. As many have said, God has His plan, and now Dustin is with his grandpa, uncle Clifford and Uncle Don and many relatives and friends who were waiting for him.

You are all in my prayers and let me know if there is anything I can do, beside pray for you all.

Love you all, Aunt Bettie Ann
