William "Pete" Elliott, Jr.

To Kelley, Kasey and Billy,
Today is May 16, 2016, the 6th anniversary of Pete's tragic death. It is still unbelievable that he is gone. For 15 yrs. we talked almost daily, and I knew I could count on him if I needed anything.
I have NEVER met a man that loved his children as much as he did. The needs of each of you came first, no matter
what plans he had. That love for you is one of the many reasons why I fell in love with him. Plus, I have never had so much fun with anyone in my entire life! Those football games watching you, Kelley and Kasey, cheer... Billy and Jimmy play.. and Christopher being so excited to have all of you as family (especially when all the cheerleaders would come to our house!!), are wonderful cherished memories. Remember, Christmas Eve on top of the roof??
Pete and Judy are now both with our Lord, watching over each of you. The friendship they kept, being together for your events and birthdays, was amazing. All of you are blessed to have been so loved unconditionally by both parents, with them putting your needs before their own.
My heart still breaks for him, and I miss him so much. I will always love him until the day I die.
Today and forever, please know that I love each of you.

To the Elliott family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I know how devastating a sudden loss can be. Pete was a great boss and a good friend.

I was so sadden to hear of Pete's passing. I always remember Pete with his fabulous smile. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. God bless you, Pete.

Sweet Kelley. I am so sad for you. I know you loved your dad so much and he loved you all so much too. It was always so obvious that you had a great friend in your dad - what a special blessing. I am here for you and praying for you and your family. Cling to Jesus in this time of sorrow. He is holding you close to His heart.
