Pastor Mike and I are so very sorry we could not be with you at Tubby's service! We love you Joanne so much and hurt for you!
Tubby was an amazing man of great integrity and honor. You two together made the most handsome couple! I personally have been touched by Tubby's gentle spirit and kind words. He always had positive and loving things to say. Always mild mannered and generous in his compliments. He will be remembered with much love and Joy from the Dally household. All our love and prayers are with you and your children and grandchildren. I know he will be missed very much! All our love to you Joanne, Lisa and Mike Dally

May God comfort you in this time of mourning! I have known Leroy for 40 years and he was always a good man. He was always humble and the same no matter where you saw him. You are in my prayers!

I am so sorry I was not able to be there today for Uncle Tubby's memorial service. You are all in my thought and prayers. My Donna loved you so. I am sure she will never forget you singing White Christmas when she was young and all the family was together at the holidays. Tubby was probably the bravest man I have ever met.

Tubby you are going to be missed, but I know Heaven is rejoicing in your return home!! I am so proud to be able to call you my friend and my hero for serving your country so faithfully. Joann, you and your family are in our prayers, and we pray peace upon you..Love you and miss you!

I am so sorry for your loss. Top was a well respected and loved teacher at West Brook High School. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I met Top for the first time in 2006 at the Popasmoke reunion in Ft Worth. I knew of his action as a member of Capt Pless crew and had followed in his footsteps, joining VMO-6, S-3 in late 1967.
Thankful for his lifelong service to Marine comrades, Corps and Country and subsequently in education.

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. "One Of My Mentor" Tubby has did this a number of time in another country while serving this great Nation that we live so freely in.
Tubby has fought the good fight, kept the faith, and now rejoices in heaven as promised by our Father in heaven. Tubby has live the Christian Life. I know with Joan and the Famliy's great faith they will be able to learn to live with this loss.

Tubby was such a great role model for us, with wisdom where we needed it. He quietly carried out his roles as soldier, husband, father, teacher, friend, but affected so many in such a positive way. He will be sorely missed here, but I take comfort knowing his pain is ended and he is now experiencing indescribable joy with His Father in Heaven and Jesus, His Savior. Till then, Tubby! Say hello to my mama...
