Shirley Ann Jacobs Alter

I was looking through this section for a old friend who recently passed away, when I came across Shirley's picture. There was no need to look at the name, for I recognized that kind beautiful smile that always greeted people. My heart is sad at such a loss. Fond memories of the Jacob and Alter Family and my time at Gem Jewelry, will stay with me for the rest of my life. May God Bless all of you and your families.

Even though I didn't know Shirley well, every time I was around her, she treated me like we were good friends and was delighted to see me again. She will be greatly missed. My thought and prayers are with you Brian, Lori and the rest of the family. Pam

Dear family, Jack and I both have wonderful memories of Shirley, all of our many years in Beaumont. In fact, I have nice memories of Shirley's Mom who shared the same beauty shop with my Mother years ago.

Jack and I will never forget the fun times we had in December with Shirley's entire family plus many friends. Her smile never faded, and Shirley was always gracious and lovely at all times.....very sweet friend.

Brian, your Mom just had to be a wonderful person, because you are! My sincere sympathy to you and the entire Alter family. I was so saddened to learn of Mrs. Alter's passing...She was a beautiful lady and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and my prayers.
